Approtic Solution Private Limited (”we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Speedometer Simple mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Speedometer Simple is designed with your privacy as a priority. The App operates entirely on your device and does not send any data to our servers or any third-party services.
The App uses your device’s GPS to display real-time speed, altitude, compass heading, and to record trip routes. This location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. Trip recordings are saved locally on your device using SwiftData and remain under your full control. You may delete trip data at any time from within the App.
The App offers a camera overlay feature that displays your speed on top of a live camera feed. The camera feed is displayed in real time and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted unless you explicitly choose to capture it. No images or video are sent to our servers.
All data generated by the App — including trip history, route recordings, preferences, and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that receive data from the App. When you export trip data as GPX or CSV files, those files are created on your device and shared only through methods you choose (such as AirDrop, email, or Files).
Speedometer Simple does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. We do not use SDKs from companies like Google, Facebook, or any ad networks.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since the App does not collect any personal data from any user, it is inherently compliant with children’s privacy regulations including COPPA.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any user data to third parties because we do not collect any user data.
Since all data remains on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete trip history within the App or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data. There is no account to delete and no server-side data to request removal of.
