Approtic Solutions Private Limited (”we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the WarrantyVault mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
WarrantyVault does not collect any personal information. All data entered into the App (product names, purchase dates, warranty details, receipt images) is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Data Storage
All warranty data, receipt scans, and product information are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. We do not operate any servers that store your data. Your data is yours alone.
Camera & Photo Access
The App requests access to your device camera solely for the purpose of scanning receipts and capturing product photos. Camera images are processed on-device and are not transmitted externally.
Third-Party Services
The App may fetch product images from Wikipedia and DuckDuckGo for display purposes only. No personal information is shared with these services. These requests are anonymous and do not include any user data.
Notifications
The App uses push notifications to remind you of upcoming warranty expirations. Notification permissions are optional and can be disabled at any time from your device settings. No notification data is shared externally.
Children’s Privacy
WarrantyVault is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
